Positive: Wonderfully comfortable homely feel. A lovely warm welcome from Des, who also provided great information about places we might like to see. Beautifully clean. Good size rooms. Had been "warned" about the narrow steep stairs to upstairs bedroom & they were & they led to a wonderful "retreat". Very responsive & helpful hosts. Heidi had tips of places to go too. Driftwood was a wonderful place to have as a base for our daily adventuring.
Negative: Only being able to stay for 4 days!!! Would have loved to stay longer...... next time...

Positive: We were warmly greeted by Walter and Elise, and shown the house, which had plenty of room for us (family of 5). The beds were very comfortable. The garden will definitely pull kids away from their screens with a hot tub, table tennis, table football, BBQ, weights, punch bag..! In the evening, we lit the stove, keeping the house cosy. We were able to keep ourselves entertained all weekend. A true break. Thank you Heidi.
Negative: We had a super break. While we found the spiral staircase fun, I would imagine people with limited mobility would find it a challenge.

Positive: We had a really great stay here, we liked the peaceful setting ,it is located off the beaten track though near to Skibberreen which is a lovely town with bookshops, craft and cafes. The hosts Dessie and Heidi were very welcoming and friendly. The apartment is spacious, well laid out and is decorated with crafts , musical instruments we really enjoyed it.
